Last couple of weeks...

For the last couple of weeks, i've been having a lot of headaches on and off... of course all i can do is take Tylenol.  It usually comes and goes and starts in the afternoon after lunch and lasts until i go to sleep and wake up just fine...

Since Tuesday, i've been cramping and having lower back pain all at the same time... it stays... it goes... it switches up on me.  I missed my OB appointment last week, but managed to get seen yesterday.  We're not really sure what is causing but i am a very busy person so i was just told to relax and not do too many strenuous activities, including not picking up the baby so much and if I have to do... try getting on my knees first or having the baby get up.  So for the next few days, I should be relaxing and not doing anything... not on complete bed rest but she told me to stay on the couch or in bed and let my husband do the work...

Hmm... have you guys met my husband??  God forbid i get put on bedrest... nothing would get done.  Cramping and back pains... i cooked dinner and took care of the kids while he sat on his computer playing his game... he decided to make cinnamon rolls from scratch and it didn't turn out as he expected but there's flour and batter all over my mixer and flour all over the counter and floor... I was tempted to clean it today but when i started... i started to cramp up again.  My house/kitchen is a disaster!!  If you know me... i'm not a neat freak AT ALL!!  But OMG... this is crazy!!   Maybe all this hurting is due to stress... because he is stressing me out right now.

5 months left on island, then time to PCS, yet again.  This time for year... not sure where I am living, 4 kids, and a lone... while he is away in Greenland.  So maybe it's stress.  I have so much to do yet in this house... figure out what he's taking, what i'm taking... what's going to storage... do we get storage... and what about the storage we already have??  I don't want everything in it...

I just had to vent so if you are reading this... sorry and thanks for listening, lol... still on the couch in a little bit of pain but the tylenol is wearing out... i guess that means it's time to make more... then i need to cook my kids some dinner.

WHEW!!! Long day...

I'm surprised i am still awake after only sleeping maybe 3-4 hours, lol... I just couldn't sleep last night.  I ordered some birthday presents and decor for Ma'Kai's 1st birthday.  Did some shopping for myself... and just played around online, with photo editing.

Today... I took Ja'Mari to school after 2 days of staying home sick.  Dropped him off came home for 40 minutes, updated the "Spouses Roster," got them printed and rushed to pick up TaShaun for his sports physical.  A 15 minute visit turned into an hour and half... I was a little pissed off... I had to be at the NCO club by 11 to set up tables for our spouses meeting.  But luckily, my friend was working and she reserved it for me.  Had a nice little break and enjoyed conversating with the ladies and planning future events and of course having lunch.  Then we migrated to the coffee shop and stayed for a few before i had to pick the boys up for school.  Finally home, cooked dinner and left for basketball.  First loss for the cops this season but it's ok... there's no hurt in losing... it just makes them stronger.

Now i'm home, wondering why I haven't crashed yet... lol... i should be... but not really tired.  Ma'Kai is walking around in his walker eating some chicken and corn and grabbing things off end table and making a mess of the house, lol.   But not with the food... that all makes it in his mouth.  The boy doesn't miss and meal!!  Just a little bored so i decided to blog about nothing really... hahaha... just blabber.

Ma'Kai is 10 months old already??

As the months go by I look at Ma'Kai and i wonder, where has the time gone... i look forward to him crawling and soon to be walking but now i want to take it all back because he's growing up so fast.  He turned 10 months old on January 16th... WOW!!  In just 2 months, he'll be ONE!!  I've already started planning his party... thinking of ideas of how to make his cake.  Since we've moved here... i've been making the boys cakes and so far so good... i've been successful.

Just watching Ma'Kai go through every milestone that babies go through... makes me sad he's growing up so fast... but can't hold back... i have another one on the way.  TaShaun and Ja'Mari are so good to him as I've always known they would.  They love their baby brother and is excited for the new baby.  Until then... Ma'Kai is our baby and they love to hold him, feed him, play with him, and teach him... they have so much fun with him.  I couldn't have asked for it to be any better.  They are such big helps... the minute Ma'Kai cries... they are there, ready to help him.
Pretty soon, he's going to be walking and we're really going to have to keep up with him.  But i think the boys will have more fun with him then... but i also think they will get annoyed more then as well... he'll be able to get their toys and run... lol... but all in all, they will still be great BIG brothers!!!

I've been giving him a bath in the sink since he was born... but pretty soon... he won't be able to fit in the sink, lol... It's already a big mess at the end of most bath time... he splashes of course so everything and me of course are soaked at the end, lol.  I enjoy every moment of it though.  He's so cute!!

Our Mad Hatter's party on New Year's Eve...

We had our annual New Year's party... well... we didn't have one last year for 2010.  We decided to go out and I did have fun but it was mad crazy downtown with the military and the Portuguese partying... Beer bottles and champagne bottles flying around, of course while I was 7 months pregnant.  But most of all i just missed being with my kids, usually there to give them a huge hug and kiss as it hits midnight.  The next morning, i felt even worse, because both boys were running fevers but Ja'Mari's just wasn't breaking and it was getting higher and higher... by evening time, Michael had taken him to the emergency room and poor baby ended up having H1N1... he recovered, 2 days later...

So this year, i decided, that most of our friends we hung out with this year all had their kids, as  well as the past previous years, so again with our New Year's Eve bash!!!  Normally themed... this year, with the help of Chanra, we decided on a Mad Hatter's/ Crazy Hats theme... everyone participated and it was great... I had 3 prizes for Top 3 adults and Top 3 kids... we "Just Dance"ed the night away on the Wii and right before midnight, the kids went outside with their glow sticks and we gave them some pop its and when midnight hit, we went out on the street and threw them on the ground and yelled, "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!"   It was great and we all had fun... at the end of the night everyone went home...

Christmas 2010

Berish Family 2010

Since I am very behind and forget to blog, i thought I would catch up starting with Christmas.  Like we do every year, we spent our Christmas Eve having our "Military Families" at our house for dinner.  Being away from home this, we meet new friends who become our family away from home and we enjoy their company every time.  We had a great time... lot of food, great company, and great conversations.  The adults had fun getting on the Wii and playing some Just Dance, and the kids enjoyed their time with friends and making a mess of their rooms, lol.   I captured some picture of the families that attended but a few were missed, but we still enjoyed their company.

Randy, Mary, and Jayden- The Hoffer Family
Luis, Terri, Lydia, Carlos, Taina- The Rivera Family

Terrance, Nina, James, and Jamie- The Smith Family

We also decide during our Thanksgving dinner that we were going to do Secret Santa. We had some fun with as well... the kids definitely enjoyed that because Santa (Josh) decided to make an appearance.  The all new who if was... but they got a kick out of it and so did we... it was hilarious.  Santa and his little helper, Lana, passed out the Secret Santa gifts.

After the party, the boys got the cookies and milk ready for Santa, opened their Christmas Eve present, new pajamas of course... and got ready for bed before Santa made his way to the Berish residence.
All excited... cowboy cookies and milk for Santa...

The Brothers in their Christmas Spongebob jammies...
They were excited for Santa's arrival.  We skyped Grandma and went straight to bed, no fuss, no whining... we didn't even have to yell for them to quit playing and go to bed.  They were exhausted from all the days festivities.  Santa finally came through the Berish house and of course left lots of presents...

Ma'Kai kept trying to go for the presents...

The next morning... or late morning... i woke up around 10 and knew everyone was tired... everyone was still asleep including Ma'Kai... I had to wake everyone up... I finally did around 11...

He was still sleepy... he had to be woken up...

Oh yea... they were really happy to be getting new jersey's...

He need a bottle first...

Diary of a Wimpy Kids, books, movie, shirt...

Ok, now he's awake and ready... he's saying "LET ME OUT!!!!

Big brother's helping Ma'Kai open up his presents...

The boys were happy with all their presents... of course they played with it for the rest of the day.  While they played with their new toys... i cooked "breakfast"... more like brunch, lol... or lunch... by this time, it was noon, lol.  So I had some pancakes, eggs, and bacon.  After we spent some family time together, i started cooking some mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and root beer ham for our Christmas dinner at the Rivera's house.  More good company and good food!!!

This Santa outfit has been passed down since TaShaun... surprisingly, it's 6-9 months and it's fit all of them, lol.

Mcihael's present... he wasn't expecting at all... that's why it was the Rivera's house... it took him awhile to notice it too...

He was opening it... it was his poker table... i bought the wrong one but it's ok... lol
